The paperwork queue at the entrance
A trampoline park sells a block of time inside a capacity, and every participant in that block needs a signed waiver. When waivers are on paper, the queue at the entrance is a paperwork queue: parents filling in forms on a clipboard, staff checking signatures against a booking list, and a session that starts late because the door could not keep up. Digital waiver software moves that work out of the queue and onto the visitor’s phone, before they arrive.
Bigger Picture handles waivers inside the same platform that sells timed entry, parties, memberships, retail and café. The waiver is not a separate tool with its own visitor list. It sits on the same customer record as the booking, the admission and everything else the visitor buys.
How digital waiver software works with booking and entry
When a visitor books a session online, the booking includes a link to sign the waiver before arriving. Visitors who did not sign in advance, or who arrive without a booking, sign at a kiosk on arrival. Either way, the signed waiver is attached to the person, not just to the booking, with a validity period the park sets.
That distinction matters operationally. A regular who signed last month does not need to sign again on every visit while the waiver is still valid, and a parent booking for a group of children is dealing with individual participants, each with their own record. When the validity period ends, the visitor is asked to sign again.
Because the waiver lives on the same record as the timed-entry booking, the park can see how many people in each slot have a valid waiver, alongside capacity and staffing. The check at the door becomes a confirmation rather than a paper exercise.
What the waiver flow covers
Sign before the visit
A link on the booking lets visitors sign from their phone before they arrive at the park.
Sign at the kiosk
Walk-ins and visitors who did not sign in advance complete the waiver at a kiosk on arrival.
Attached to the person
Each waiver belongs to an individual visitor, so returning visitors are recognised on their next booking.
Validity you set
The park decides how long a signed waiver remains valid before the visitor is asked to sign again.
Linked to timed entry
Waivers sit alongside capacity per interval, so each slot shows who is booked and who has signed.
One visitor record
Waiver, booking, membership, party and café purchases on one profile, exportable in a usable format.
Waiver wording and legal review
The software holds the process. The content is the park’s decision. What the waiver says, who may sign on behalf of a minor, which activities require it and how long a signature remains valid are questions for the operator and its own legal adviser, and they differ between countries. Bigger Picture does not give legal advice. During implementation, the park’s wording and rules are set up in the platform, and the validity period is configured to match the park’s policy.
When the wording changes, for example after a new activity opens or the park’s insurer asks for an update, the change is a configuration task rather than a reprint of forms. Ask any vendor how a wording change affects visitors who signed the previous version, and agree the answer with your adviser before go-live.
Waivers, capacity and staffing
A park open twelve hours a day does not face flat demand. It faces two or three peaks that decide the month, and the entrance is where those peaks are felt first. Timed entry with capacity per interval, session length and an arrival grace period controls how many people arrive in each slot. Digital waivers make sure that, when they arrive, the only thing left to do is admit them.
Attendance and occupancy reporting reads by hour, activity and zone, so staffing follows the actual shape of the week. Everything the visitor spends, from admission to the last drink at the café, lands on the same record, which makes spend per visit a measurement rather than an estimate.
A leisure group running trampoline parks and indoor play on Bigger Picture replaced paper waivers at the door, a capacity spreadsheet and a party diary with timed entry, digital waivers signed before arrival or at a kiosk, and party packages with room allocation and deposits. The queue at the entrance stopped being a paperwork queue, and shifts are now planned against the real peaks.
Parties, groups and schools
Birthday parties and school groups bring many participants under one booking. The platform handles party packages, room booking, deposits and guest lists, and assisted sales to schools and companies, on the same system as the waivers. How waivers are collected for a party or a school group, for example whether the organiser shares a signing link with each family in advance, is part of the process the park designs during setup.
Moving from paper or another waiver system
Switching systems should not mean asking every regular to sign again on their next visit. Members and passes are imported before cut-over, and the handling of existing waivers is planned with the park so returning visitors are not asked for more than the park requires. Your visitors, waivers and transactions are your data, and you should be able to take them with you in a usable format.
Beyond trampoline parks
The same timed-entry and capacity engine, with waivers where the activity needs them, is used for indoor play centres, adventure parks, family entertainment centers and experience venues. Operators with a cinema, bowling or live events in the same venue run those on the same platform, with one customer record across every format.
Frequently asked questions
What is digital waiver software?
It is software that lets visitors sign a liability waiver electronically instead of on paper. In Bigger Picture the waiver is signed online before the visit or at a kiosk on arrival, and attached to the visitor on the same record as the booking.
Can visitors sign the waiver before they arrive?
Yes. Visitors sign from the link on their booking before arriving, or at a kiosk on arrival.
Do returning visitors have to sign every time?
No. The waiver is attached to the person with a validity period the park sets, and the visitor is asked to sign again only when it expires.
Can existing waivers be migrated from another system?
The handling of existing waivers is planned with the park before cut-over, so returning visitors are not asked for more than the park requires. Members and passes are imported before cut-over.
Does it work for attractions other than trampoline parks?
Yes. The same timed-entry and capacity engine is used for indoor play centres, adventure parks, family entertainment centers and experience venues.
