The season ticket is the club’s steadiest revenue

A season-ticket holder pays before the season starts, comes to almost every match and spends on food and in the club shop. Every holder who does not renew leaves a seat that has to be sold again, match by match, and often stays empty.

Season ticket management in Bigger Picture runs on the same platform as ticketing, access control and point of sale. So holders renew from their phone, enter with the same code all season and get their discounts at the till, without anyone matching lists by hand. It works the same for football (soccer) and baseball clubs.

  • Season tickets with a fixed seat and online renewal, with priority for current holders.
  • Seat moves and section upgrades inside the same campaign.
  • A waiting list for new holders, with an automatic offer when a seat is released.
  • Passing a single match to a friend through a named transfer.
  • Boxes and hospitality packages sold through the corporate sales module.

A renewal campaign, step by step

Each stage opens when the previous one closes, and seats nobody renewed move on to the next group on their own. You set the dates, the prices and the order.

8 weeks before

Every holder gets an invitation

A personal message with their current seat, next season’s price, the payment plans and the date their window closes. One tap takes them to the renewal screen.

Weeks 1 to 3

Priority window: the same seat

Only current holders can renew, and each one sees their own seat held in their name. They renew online, at the box office or by phone, always against the same inventory.

Week 4

Upgrades and seat moves

Holders who have renewed can move up a section or switch to a released seat, in the order you choose, for example by years as a holder. The seat they leave goes back on the map.

Week 5

The waiting list comes in

Released seats are offered to the waiting list in order, each with a deadline to accept. If someone does not answer, the offer moves to the next person with no manual work.

Week 6

General sale of season tickets

Whatever is left goes to the general public. When demand is high, a virtual queue orders the rush so the sale does not fall over in the first minute.

The renewal report

Renewal rate by section against last season, released seats, upgrades sold and campaign revenue, on one dashboard.

Holders and released seats on the same map

During the campaign the stadium map shows live which seats have renewed, which are still pending and which have been released. The sales team knows where there is room before the next stage opens.

  • A fixed seat for each holder, held in their name during the priority window.
  • Section upgrades and seat moves with the price difference worked out for you.
  • Allocations per section for season tickets, single-match sales, away fans and boxes.
  • Online renewal with payment plans and payment methods per channel.

When a holder moves seat, the old one is released at that moment and becomes available to the waiting list. There are no spreadsheets to reconcile at the end of the campaign.

The season ticket on the fan’s phone

Holders carry the season in their pocket: they enter with their code, share a match when they cannot go and use their benefits at the kiosks and in the shop.

Corporate boxes and hospitality

Companies buy differently from fans: season contracts, several guests per match and services included. The corporate sales module sells boxes and packages from the same stadium inventory, so a box is never sold twice.

ProductWhat it includes and how it is sold
Season boxA private box, named access for every guest and catering. Contract and follow-up in corporate sales.
Match hospitalityA premium seat, a menu and parking. Sold match by match online or through an account manager.
Company season ticketsSeveral season tickets in the company’s name, assigned match by match to a named employee or client.

Every guest gets their own ticket, box catering goes through the same point of sale and the hospitality report comes out alongside the season ticket report.

Renewals, section by section

Halfway through the campaign you already know which sections are on track and which need a reminder, an upgrade offer or a different payment plan.

Ask your season ticket data

The AI data assistant is part of the analytics module and answers plain-language questions about renewals, sections and the waiting list. Nobody has to build a report to know where to act.

  • “Which sections are renewing below last season?”
  • “How many South stand holders have not opened the invitation?”
  • “How many released seats are still unassigned?”
  • You decide the action: the AI shows the data and suggests, your team approves.

What should we do about the South stand before the window closes?
Suggestion412 South stand holders have not opened their invitation yet. I suggest a reminder that offers instalments and the option to change seats.

Frequently asked questions

What is season ticket management software?

It is the system that sells, renews and runs a stadium’s season tickets: fixed seats, the renewal campaign, seat moves, the waiting list and entry at every match. In Bigger Picture it runs on the same platform as ticketing and point of sale.

Can holders keep the same seat?

Yes. During the priority window every seat is held in the name of its current holder, who can renew it online, at the box office or by phone.

How does the waiting list for new holders work?

Fans sign up by section. When a seat is released, the platform offers it to the next person on the list with a deadline to accept, and if they do not answer it moves on to the next one.

Can a holder pass a match to a friend?

Yes, through a named transfer. The ticket for that match is issued in the friend’s name, the original is switched off and the transfer is recorded.

Can we sell boxes and hospitality in the same system?

Yes. The corporate sales module handles season boxes, match hospitality packages and company season tickets from the same stadium inventory.
