Stadium concessions POS
Stadium concessions POS for a fifteen-minute half-time
Half-time lasts fifteen minutes, and every minute a fan spends in a queue is a sale you lose. Bigger Picture runs your stands, kiosks, club store and in-seat ordering on one POS, with one stock and one cash-up.

Fifteen minutes, minute by minute
On match day, most food and beverage sales happen in a very short window. A fan who sees a long queue goes back to the seat empty-handed. This is what half-time looks like when stands, kiosks and the app all run on the same platform.
Minute 40
The order arrives before the queue does
From the 40th minute the app invites fans to order for half-time. Each stand sees its queue of scheduled orders and starts preparing before the whistle.
Half-time
Thousands of fans stand up at once
QR orders are routed to the stands closest to each block. Every stand sees on its screen what to prepare first and for when.
+3 minutes
Kiosks take the walk-ups
Self-service kiosks handle simple orders, and cashiers sell combos with one tap. Everyone charges with the same price and discount rules.
+6 minutes
“Your order is ready at stand 12”
The fan gets a notification and collects from a separate lane, without queueing again. In blocks with seat service, a runner takes the order to the row.
+10 minutes
Beer runs out at stand 7, not across the stadium
Stock drops live with every sale. When a stand hits its minimum, the supervisor gets an alert and moves product from the store room or from another stand.
+15 minutes
The game restarts, sales keep going
Orders keep reaching seats through the second half. The next morning, the report shows what each stand sold in each minute.
One POS for tickets, food and the club store
Many stadiums run a separate system for every business: one for the box office, another for the food stands, another for the club store. After the match nobody knows what each fan really spent, and the cash-up is put together by hand.
With Bigger Picture, the box office, food stands, bars, club store and kiosks all use the same point of sale. The cashier who sells a last-minute ticket can also ring up a shirt or a combo in the same transaction.
- One catalogue with tickets, food, drinks and merchandise.
- Different prices and menus by stand, by block or by event type.
- Card, cash, mobile wallet or member balance.
- Role permissions: the cashier sells, the supervisor voids and approves.
In-seat ordering by QR code
Every seat or row carries a QR code. The fan scans it with the phone camera, with nothing to download, and the system already knows which block they are sitting in.
You decide where seat delivery is offered and where it is pickup only: boxes and premium areas with full service, the rest of the stadium with queue-free collection.

The seat QR opens the menu of the stand nearest to the fan’s block.

3

Payment on the phone. The order goes straight to the stand’s screen.
4

Self-service kiosks
A kiosk does not replace the cashier, it frees them. Simple orders, like a drink or a combo, are handled on screen, and staff focus on preparing and handing over. Kiosks show the same menu, the same combos and the same prices as the app and the tills, because they read from the same catalogue.
When an item sells out, it disappears from the kiosk, the app and the till at the same moment. Nobody pays for something that is no longer there.
Combos, upsells and member benefits, without the cashier remembering them
Sales rules are set up once and applied automatically on every channel. The cashier does not need to remember which promotion runs today or which discount each member is entitled to.
- Combos built by stand, by time of day or by match.
- Upsells at checkout: fries, dessert or a larger drink.
- Member and season ticket holder discounts applied when they identify.
- Vouchers, coupons and prepaid balance, valid at any stand.
Because the fan identifies with their account, the club knows what each member buys and can reward them at the next match.

Every point of sale deducts from the same inventory at the moment of sale. With recipes, the system knows that a hot dog combo uses a bun, a sausage, a portion of fries and a cup, and deducts each ingredient from the stand that sold it.

The result: stock at every stand is visible in real time, transfers from the store room are recorded, and the cost of each item sold comes from its recipe, not from a calculation at the end of the month.
Cash control and shift close per stand
Each cashier opens a shift with a float, sells and closes against their own transactions. The supervisor sees right away which stands have closed, which show a difference and who made each void.
| Stand | Expected | Difference |
|---|---|---|
| Stand 4 | $ 3,842 | Balanced |
| Stand 7 | $ 5,118 | −$ 15 |
| Stand 12 | $ 4,690 | Balanced |
| Club store | $ 7,236 | Balanced |
- Shift open and close per cashier and per stand.
- Cash, card and app payments kept separate in the count.
- Voids and manual discounts with approval and an audit log.
Reports by stand and by minute of the match
The report does not wait for month end. During the match you see what is selling, where and when, and the next day you can compare every stand and every minute with the previous game.

Bigger Picture runs ticketing, concessions and point of sale for cinemas, attractions and live venues, as well as basketball and handball clubs, with offices in Israel, Bulgaria, Mexico and Argentina. It is cloud-native, keeps each organisation’s data separate, and offers an open REST API and webhooks to connect payment providers and third-party systems. Whether your stadium hosts football (soccer, for US readers) or baseball, the concessions flow is the same.
Frequently asked questions
What is a stadium concessions POS?
It is the system that takes payment at the stadium’s food stands, bars, club store, kiosks and box office. With Bigger Picture, all of those points share one catalogue, one inventory and one cash-up.
How does in-seat ordering work?
The fan scans the QR code on the seat, chooses from the menu, pays on the phone and collects at the stand or receives the order in the block. The order goes straight to the screen of the stand that prepares it.
Do fans need to download an app?
No. The QR code opens the menu in the phone’s browser. If the fan signs in with a member account, their benefits are applied.
Can member and season ticket holder discounts apply to food?
Yes. Member, season ticket holder, voucher and coupon benefits are applied automatically at the till, the kiosk and the app, with the rules you set.
How is stock controlled at each stand?
Every sale deducts from the stand’s inventory in real time, with recipes per item. When a stand reaches its minimum, the supervisor gets an alert and can record a transfer from the store room.
How is cash closed at the end of the match?
Each cashier closes their shift against their own transactions, with cash, card and app payments counted separately. Differences, voids and manual discounts are all recorded.
